Travel & Stay
As you start to book your travel, make sure to arrive in Lisbon at the latest by 2pm on August 4th. If you are traveling from outside of Europe, we highly recommend arriving at least one day prior to adjust to the timezone.
TRAVEL
AIRPORT INFORMATION
The closest international airport is Humberto Delgado Airport. It is about a 20 minute drive from the city center.
TRAIN INFORMATION
If you are already in Portugal or elsewhere in Europe, taking the train is also a great option. The main station in Lisbon is Gare De Oriente Station.
RIDE SHARES
We recommend using Uber to get to and from the airport. It is also a great mode of transportation around the city!
Lisbon also has historic trams and is a very walkable city so please feel free to explore.
TRAVEL TIPS (take it from us)
Make sure your passport is valid at least 6 months past your departure date
Use Airtags for all your checked luggage
Leave ample time for connections (3+ hours) & it is usually easier to connect in Europe
Use this jetlag planner to minimize jet lag and maximize energy, so you’re ready to celebrate!
STAY
We will be recommending three hotel options in Lisbon for our wedding. Please check back soon to find more information!
All transportation to the events will leave from these hotels. If you decide to stay elsewhere, you are responsible for getting to and from a pickup/drop off location.
